This is the first edition of the revamped Dead End Follies book club. You will find in this post, a selection of fourbooks for this winter (from January to March), which all wear my seal of approval. So if you're into a reading slump and you like Dead End Follies, these are books you want to check out. To further motivate you to read them, I will have posts on every individual book, where I will list three reasons why you should read it (why I think it will interest you) and three questions about the book, which we will debate in the comments without trying to spoil too much. Here is my selection for this winter. I tried to select in the widest array of tastes possible, within the interests of the site.
The first book we will discuss in the fourth week of January will be IN NINE KINDS OF PAIN by Leonard Fritz. That gives you three weeks to read a 190 pages novel with drawings in it. More than enough time to discover this great novel that is worth your precious time and money. You will thank me for this.
