Planned Service Interruption - Goin' to Vegas

I'm turning 30 this Saturday. You won't be able to reach me and wish me happy birthday...because....(wait for it)....(wait for it)....I'LL BE WALKING THE LAS VEGAS STRIP, INTOXICATED AND HAPPY. I don't think there are any places I'd rather be to turn 30 and since I have the best better-half a man could want, she organized a little four day field trip in Sin City. I plan to drink, eat in all the American dives we don't have up here in Canada (by the way, there's no Waffle House in Nevada. Booh), see the Cirque du Soleil, finish to read my mystery-vacation-book and of course, gamble a little.

Of course, Dead End Follies will go radio-silent for a few days, but I'll be back on duty on November 13th, with my mind and hopefully a new outlook on life. If I'm expecting anything out of my thirties is to let go of the existential confusion I've spent the last decade in. So, onwards to Vegas. I'll be back older and wiser...next Tuesday.
