What are you looking for, homie?

A Method, now on IndieGoGo

I don't go on crowdsourcing sites (IndieGoGo, Kickstarter) all that often.  Not that it's not full of interesting projects (most times it is), but it's the kind of thing that's hard to stop doing if you start routinely browsing their site. I make exception when friends of the site have projects up. Movie director Paul Von Stoetzel, the man behind Killing Joke Films, has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to get the necessary funding to finish his first feature film A METHOD.

I wouldn't bother posting about it if the movie didn't look incredibly cool. From the trailer, it looks like what BLACK SWAN would be like, if it was written by Jim Thompson. I'm a fan of psychological movies, I'm a fan of Paul, so if you're a fan of either, you should back that wonderful project, even minimally. A fearless artist is turning to the community to help gather funds for a tremendous project, so let's answer accordingly.

A METHOD follows Nina, a professional documentarian, and her crew as they chronicle the acting process of Andrea, a young and successful theater performer, in her first major role in a feature film. Andrea’s process becomes risky as she is encouraged to delve deeper into the dark reality of her character. Nina is there to record everything as the line between what is real and what is performance becomes dangerously blurred.

or better yet,

I do not have anything to do with the production but like I said, Paul is a long-time friend of the site, he has all these cool ideas and he is an Indie artist at heart, has his own production company and everything. So let's help destiny for once and make A METHOD the success it should be.
