Falconer - Mindtraveller

I tend to abuse of the concept of  "perfection". However, my usage of it doesn't imply the idea to be absolute and universal. For example, I think MINDTRAVELLER by Falconer is a perfect power metal song (on a perfect album, also, but that's another battle).  It's an object that achieved perfection in itself. It literally could not be better than it actually is (or its improvement depends on variables I am 100% oblivious about). The guitar riff is striking and slightly echoes what the mood the song is trying to invite, Mathias Blad's delivery is strong and inspiring and the song's meaning, but allegorically and abstractly reflects something much deeper than its lyrics. Perfection happens sometimes. Some things live up to 100% of their potential. MINDTRAVELLER sure does. It's a song I never get tired of.
