I have read 97 books this year. It's a lot, but it's less than for 2012. Several factors can explain the numbers decrepancy: my broken Kindle, turmoil in my personal life, the 2013 NBA finals, point is I kept reading every day of the year, but numbers didn't add up as quickly as I would've liked.
It's really weird nonetheless to look at the list of books I've read, because I can tell exactly what I was reading when major events were happening in my life, in 2013. Here are the official nominees for the 2013 Dead End Follies Awards that rewards the very best of my year in reading.
