Kindle : The Return

Last Friday, a brand new Kindle literally dropped from the sky. Long story short, a friend of ours has a brand new Kindle Paperwhite she never used because she reads her books on her iPad. She brought it over to Josie and said: ''You guys are intense readers, I'm sure you'll use it more than me.'' I don't think she knows how appreciated her Kindle will be in the foreseeable future.

Nevertheless, I owe reviews. Lots of books are locked away forever on my dead Kindle, what I was able to salvage from the cloud is this:

David David Katzman - The Kickstarter Letters (which I will review Monday)
Ray Banks - Matador (which I am reading right now)
Frank Zafiro & Jim Wilsky - Queen of Diamonds
Tom Pitts - Piggyback
Richard Thomas - Staring in the Abyss
Barry Graham - When it all Comes Down to Dust
Tom Piccirilli - The Night Class
Beat to a Pulp's Vin of Venus
Roderick Thorpe - Nothing Lasts Forever

I've also bought these titles back because I have promised a review back when LeBron James still played basketball in Cleveland or something:

Paul O'Brien - Blood Red Turns Dollar Green Vol. 1 - 2
Joe Clifford - Wake The Undertaker

I am aware of owing a couple reviews to Mr. Andrez Bergen, author of TOBACCO-STAINED MOUNTAIN GOAT, who PATIENTLY wrote me an email every time he published a novel (and the man publishes a LOT) and to Mrs. Lori Hettler, marketing director of the CCLaP. I will contact these two privately about the reviews I owe them.

If we agreed on an eBook review, PRETTY PRETTY PUH-LEASE don't take it personal that I have forgotten about it and drop me a line at benoitlelievre (at) gmail (dot) com, tell me what the title was and attach a .mobi to your email if you can. Lots happened since my old Kindle died, I'm getting pummeled with emails every week, I just want to collect whatever fell through the cracks. I don't take new reviews yet, I'm just trying to make good on those I accepted before old Kindle kicked the bucket due to programmed obsolescence.

Thanks for being cool about it,

B.
